Official Tournament Rules
•TEAM vs TEAM (5 on 5)
-Each team will consist of 5 players.
-Multiple team entries are allowed.
-Players are not interchangeable between teams as substitutions.
-1 player substitution is allowed per set.
-Team rosters and substitutions must be finalized before start of games.
•SET
-One Set = Best of 3/5 rounds.
-1 Round = 5 minutes.
-Round is won by taking center flag to opponents start zone or eliminating all players on the opposing team.
•TIME
-Referee will verbally check teams for ready before round begins.
-Round will begin on referee's signal.
-Each Round is 5:00 minute max time.
•CENTER FLAG
-If player carrying the flag gets hit, flag drops immediately where play was hit.
-Flag must be carried in hand. Example: Player cannot place flag inside dump pouch.
•STARTING BREAKOUT
-Teams will breakout from their designated start zone, located at both ends of the field.
-All guns must be pointed towards the wall before round begins.
•SEMI AUTO ONLY
-All types of guns are allowed.
-Guns must be semi locked.
-Burst, Ramping, Hybrid modes, ETC... are NOT allowed
-One trigger pull = One shot.
-Midcaps only.
-No winding magazines.
•NO MINIMUM ENGAGEMENT DISTANCE
-No surrenders / Bang-Bang
-No melee weapons.
-No grenades.
-No lasers.
-350 FPS limit or 1.14 joules.
•REFEREE/OFFICIALS
-Referee controls round countdown and game start/end.
-Referees have full power to call hits upon players and pull players.
-Referees have final call to any disagreements, PERIOD.
•HITS
-Any bodily contact with a BB is considered a hit.
-Gun hits do not count.
-Ricochets do not count.
-If opposing players shoot each other at the same time, both players are out, no continued play.
-Dry fires, empty barrel, do not count as a hit.
•PENALTIES
-Any and all penalties will result in team forfeiture of the current round.
-Penalties count as both Player and Team penalties.
-Player penalties cannot be transferred.
-Not calling a hit, will result in player penalty
-Any continued play after getting hit will result in a penalty.
-Purposely moving a barrier will result in player receiving a penalty and team automatically forfeiting that round.
-Any attempt to gain or give any player or team an unfair advantage will result in a penalty. Example: Dead players communicating enemy positions with live players.
-2nd offense for a player no call: Team forfeits that round automatically and player is suspended from play for the remainder of the day.
-Upon receiving a 4th penalty, team will be disqualified for the remainder of the tournament.
Anyone attempting to cheat or violate Jungle Ball rules will be immediately removed from their team's roster and forfeit their right to be able to attend future Jungle Ball games.
